Major Refurbishment Job.
This was a major refurbishment job. All stiffeners were replaced and fully welded. A high percentage of bays were over-plated and fully welded. Other small steel repairs were carried out, along with the removal and install of cross beams to take the new 80mm thick GRP road deck. These works substantially increased the bridge weight capacity.
